And I am a big Jimi fan, but I only wanted the boxed set for all the gear too.
If they only produced Jimi figure alone (with just guitar), I might've passed. I passed on Jim and Janis yet I was a fan.
I'm thinking of grabbing an extra Jimi to make into a Cody Chesnutt, but he's not left-handed, hmmm...

Back on Topic: So far I stole Baimun's idea for making the curly wires. Is there a "set" way to install those little yellow connectors for the rigging? Or is this a pseudo creative erector set? There were never instructions, I wonder if super-glue won't be a team player in this venture....

On the subject of the "stacks"...
There are pegs that hold them to the stage, but nothing to peg them together so the top doesn't fall off....
If I jiggle my monitors at all, the heads and top speaker comes crashing down on the stage....
So... a WIDE ROW of HALF STACKS it is. [img]biggrin.gif[/img]
little dab o'white glue solves that problem.
I got my boxset today. I'm pondering whether I should open it or not since I have one of my the clamshells open. I know, I know......... he's gone MOC on us. Rub it in.
Man that set needs to breathe in it's fully assembled glory! That opened clamshell Jimi will provide extra speakers at least.

It's your call Sculpey, but you never know if you may change your mind about the set later. He does look nice in the box, but the completed thing is plastic bliss. *tempts*
They could easily be discounted later on anyhow, you can always wait and grab another.
